About Me
You're reading the fully subjective musings of an opinionated, coffee-swilling, wine & sake drinking, gay, bourgeoisie-bohemian over-educated Arab American academic with Eurocentric yet Asian inspired tendencies who divides his time between Seattle (WA), Buffalo (NY) and Paris (France). Essentially, I believe that the reality we live is socially constructed (see links below), & that there is no single or absolute truth (objectivity is illusory). Ultimately, we each have a duty to question assumptions, since it is only within questioning that we find "truth". I also throw in some politics, pop culture and "homo" fun to entertain - eclectic, that's me! You can read more about me below. Tattoo count = 7

ME: Received my Doctorate from Seattle University, where I obtained my Masters in Public Administration (MPA) in 2004. I have a BA in Industrial Psychology from Penn State University (1991). Spent a few years working in banking, non-profit administration & finance, and now teach, write & consult in the areas of social constructionism (in particular the social construction of leaders, family and sexuality), leadership education and creative studies and problem solving. Originally from Pennsylvania, I've lived in Seattle for 13 years, and now divide my time between the Pacific Northwest, Buffalo, New York, and Paris, France. I work as a writer and am an Assistant Professor with the State University of New York/Buffalo State College. I love coffee, red wine, sake, beer, philosophy, running, travel, yoga, the beach, Louis Vuitton, diamonds, the outdoors, music and urban life.
